Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply technical passion and interest combined with your customer and services oriented nature in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Parts & Overhaul Solutions Manager Nordics, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

You’ll specifically take care of  :

  • Implementing governance on the long-term sustaining of the MITRAC product family developed by Vasteras (enabling profitable service project execution and business growth in Regions)
  • Driving proposal for Through Life Support for MITRAC product family to all regions

 

We’ll look to you for:

Drive business development:

  • conduct business case analysis for sustaining and Part & Overhaul R&D program in collaboration with the MITRAC product team, the selling teams and regions for further validation and approval by the service solution (PL)
  • In co-operation with product managers, establish MITRAC product installed base worldwide and analyze potential business opportunities
  • drive and validate the long-term MITRAC product obsolescence risks identification, sustaining plan and service strategy per device provided by the product and internal selling organizations in Vasteras and ensure that service requirements are considered.
  • validate product catalogue of MITRAC provided by COD.
  • review and validate long-term scope, deliverables and sustaining cost for MITRAC products provided by the product team in Vasteras.
  • review and validate LTB decisions on MITRAC products (both component and device level) provided by the product team in Vasteras.
  • review Product Life Cycle Status Change (PCN/PDN) with MITRAC provided by the product team in Vasteras and check impact on services and region, to define service strategy, and to provide communication content to region which will be organized by service solution (PL).
  • identify region needs and validate repair localization with business case study. Support of repair localization initiative and business case in Services Nordics.

 

Support competitive offerings:

  • drive and validate competitive MITRAC service offers (competitive QCD figures for both technical and service scope) which need to be provided by the MITRAC product and internal selling organizations in Vasteras for the region Nordics
  • support sales teams to promote long-term MITRAC product sustaining solutions and offerings

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience including an engineering qualification
  • Good knowledge of obsolescence management, market needs and services for electronics products.
  • Good knowledge of tender & project management processes
  • Good knowledge of industrial processes
  • Enjoy frequent travel within Nordics and occasionally travel to other Alstom sites such as Zürich, Villeurbanne etc.
  • Business English & ideally Swedish
