HR Business Partner Fixed-term 1-year 

 in Västerås

 

The Opportunity!

It’s a 1-year fixed term contract with possibility for extension, where you will provide professional HR support as a local business partner, partnering with teams on tactical and strategic level by adherence to company policy and deployment of Alstom HR initiatives. You will ensure our people managers develop their human relation skills to care for their teams.  You will be offered a varied workday allowing interactions on all levels, a key challenge will be to handle the variety of tasks and allocate your time between each.

 

Key responsibilities:

Counselling Business on HR topics

  • Advise, support, coach and develop our leaders by being a professional sounding board
  • Drive and implement our processes, tools and HR related projects
  • Industrial Relations with unions and social partners; manage labor law issues and follow the regulations. Be responsible for information and negotiations with the unions
  • Experience with Collective agreements covering both workers and civil servants
  • Support managers in rehabilitation of employees
  • Ensure work environment and gender equality issues are managed as per labor law
  • Understand, prioritise and deliver upon business needs
  • Ensure compliance in our deliveries by following our Delegation of Authority
  • Ensure sustainability and quality in our data
  • Facilitate the budget process in your scope
  • Prepare manpower/workforce planning as solid base for recruitment, and create succession plans, and assure enough anticipation and effective implementation
  • Personally interview for key positions in area of responsibility and give feedback
  • Take responsibility and drive the annual salary review
  • Maintain the salary structure
  • Employee Engagement Survey

 

Who are you?

  • Experience of managing complex negotiations or consultations with trade unions in Sweden
  • University degree in human resources or similar.
  • Demonstrated initiative and action drive
  • Strength in situation leadership, ethics, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cultural competency.
  • Solid understanding, knowledge & experience in HR Management tools, policies, processes & best practices.
  • Experience of local labour laws.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English is a must.
  • Analytical thinking, rigorous mindset, flexible
  • Project management experience is an added value
