Could you be the full-time onsite Drive Power Design Engineer in Vasteras, SE we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your electric motor design and optimization expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll contribute to enhancing system performance and ensuring energy efficiency in advanced transportation products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, testing, and product development), conduct simulations and analyses to validate motor performance, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Designing and evaluating electric motor systems, focusing on performance, reliability, and efficiency ,

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate motor systems into vehicles and transportation solutions ,

Conducting simulations and analyses to validate motor performance against specifications ,
-
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to motor operation and control ,
-
Staying informed about emerging technologies and regulations related to electric motor design and application ,
-
Preparing detailed documentation for projects, including design specifications and testing reports ,
-
Applying motor control theory, power electronics, and embedded systems knowledge to enhance system performance ,
-
Utilizing engineering software for modeling and simulation ,
-
Demonstrating outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities ,
-
Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders, both written and verbal.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field ,

Experience or understanding of electric motor design, preferably in the transportation industry ,

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities ,

Effective teamwork and collaboration skills ,
