Could you be the full-time onsite Project Quality and Safety Manager in Valle de Mexico we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your quality and safety management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
You'll ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in our projects, driving excellence and compliance at every stage. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, operations, and procurement), lead quality audits and inspections, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring that project quality and safety objectives are met in accordance with Alstom standards and customer requirements. ,

  • Leading quality assurance activities during all project phases, from design to delivery. ,

  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation plans to ensure project safety. ,

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve quality-related issues. ,

  • Driving compliance with safety regulations and industry standards across all project activities. ,

  • Monitoring and reporting on key quality and safety performance indicators. ,

  • Supporting teams in implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed. ,

  • Conducting audits and reviews to ensure adherence to quality and safety processes. ,

  • Providing training and guidance to project teams on quality and safety best practices. ,

  • Promoting a mindset of resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning within the project teams."


All about you

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. ,

  • Experience or understanding of quality assurance processes and safety standards within the rail, transportation, or manufacturing industries. ,

  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and safety regulations. ,

  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies. ,

  • A certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent communication skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams. ,

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. ,

  • Leadership abilities to guide and inspire teams toward quality and safety excellence. ,

  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. ,

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. ,

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
