Location:  Valenciennes

Purpose of the job:

 Located on Valenciennes in the north of France ; You will join one of the biggest Train Development site, for Double Deck trains and Metros, with more than 1700 Employees,

As a Tender procurement manager, you will be in charge of :

 

Building a robust and competitive tender cost commitment through internal procurement network following the defined timeline

Managing the product procurement reference library ( standard product (trains) catalogue ) to fit with market price

 

Organization and reporting:

 You will be reporting to the Procurement Director

Interface & network :

 Global Commodity Team / Project Managers / Engineering Team

 

What are my responsibilities?

  • Organize cost reduction workshops with all internal stakeholders ( engineering , central & local procurement team ..ect ) & follow it’s progress
  • Challenges Platform requirements where and when relevant,
  • Monitor the tender cost budget on a monthly basis & identifies risks and mitigation plan 
  • Respect the defined tender saving target
     
    What do I need to qualify for this job?
    Minimum qualifications

Mandatory:

  • MASTER / MBA in Business, Purchasing/Sourcing or equivalent

Experience  

Mandatory:

  • Industrial or Project background
  • Sourcing , Finance, or Project background
  • Fluent in English & French
