You are in charge of defining the architecture and functionalities of a Train Control & Passenger Information sub-system in compliance with the various requirements

You are responsible for the proper integration into the train


Responsibilities :


  • Provide the documentation of the sub-system (requirements specification and architecture description, technical purchase specification, interface control document
  • Definition and implementation of the functional, performance, transversal and train level requirements of the dedicated sub-system
  • Integration of the subsystem in the train (mechanically and electrically)
  • definition of the interface (mechanical and electrical) for the dedicated subsystem
  • participation in design reviews
  • configuration management of the sub-system
  • planning and follow-up of all activities related to the sub-system
  • Participate in technical meetings with the Customer.




  • Ensure the tuning of these subsystems on the Train (on site or off site)
  • Warranty Period:
  • Resolve technical issues that arise during the warranty period.



  • Engineer with preferably a minimum of 3 years experience in a design office
  • General technical knowledge in the railway industry, in automation and in electricity
  • Mastery of a specification, development and validation process with Cost Quality Time objectives
  • Ability to work in a matrix, multi-site and international organization
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • English read, written and spoken mandatory
