To strengthen our team we are looking for a Project Contract Manager for our Signalling activity based in Saint-Ouen
He/she is responsible for the Project Contract Management of our portfolio of Signalling projects.  
His/her role is to protect Alstom's interests, safeguard Alstom's rights and privileges as stipulated in contracts with customers, external partners, subcontractors, insurers and other third parties, and ensure that these parties fulfill their contractual obligations.


Reporting to the Head of Contract Management of the relevant cluster, and functionally to the Project Managers/head of business, you will be required to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external project stakeholders (Customer director, project managers and team members, lawyers, suppliers, and the contract management community, etc.), in order to carry out your various missions:


  • Ensure that CCIM (Contracts, Claims and Insurance Management) guidelines are met during project execution, at all levels of the organization, for all Alstom stakeholders and alert if any non-compliance is observed.
  • Monitor work against contractual obligations, schedules and all contractual milestones.
  • Develop a pragmatic commercial approach based on the contractual analysis of the project, to protect Alstom's interests on a day-to-day basis vis-à-vis customers and/or partners and in liaison with suppliers and/or subcontractors.
  • Record and notify the facts to the customer and/or partners, prepare and manage all elements and evidence for the negotiation of disputes; manage litigation.
  • Anticipate and evaluate events, opportunities and risks, propose different counter-strategies and business solutions to control the situation.
  • Manage the various requests for changes from customers / partners.
  • In conjunction with the Purchasing organization, ensure that terms and conditions are timely and appropriately transferred to subcontractors and/or suppliers.
  • Manage insurance matters in relation to the central internal Insurance department.
  • Provide guidelines and trainings to the business.

Profile required:

  • You ideally have a first experience of 5 to 10 years minimum in the industry, as a "Contract Manager".
  • You are rigorous,
  • You have good interpersonal skills and are open-minded,
  • The mastery of English is a plus,
  • Some travel is to be expected.
  • Position to be filled in Paris.
