Purpose of the Job/Objective

Is accountable of the Requirement, Safety, Validation and Ecodesign requirements on the CoE interiors scope.

  • Hierarchical reports to Interiors Product Engineering Manager,
  • Functional reports to Interiors Engineering Group Leader,

  • Deliverables of CDRL on time

 

Responsibilities

 

Requirements:

  • Following req. CoE process, supporting Interiors Engineering team in:
    • Clarifying and cleaning requirements,
    • Synthetizing requirements,
    • Managing requirement change.
  • Key user DOORS
  • KPI

 

Safety:

  • Perform the Safety risk analysis on CoE Interiors scope, according to the Safety instructions/processes and other specific requirements committed to the Customer,
  • Identify the Product Safety Characteristics and ensure that they are managed from the design to the production of interiors parts,
  • Define and Manage the S.R.I.L. according to the Safety instructions / processes,
  • Ensure that all actions included in the S.R.I.L. are completed on time,
  • Manage the List of Non Metallic Materials on projects,
  • Maintain the Fire and Smoke test reports database.

 

Validation:

  • Definition of validation plan with Engineering team for project and R&D,
  • Proposition of test method to validate CoE design,
  • Validate of supplier report.

 

Ecodesign:

  • Participate to design (Interiors level) to insure achievement of contractual, legal and standard requirements in the field of Ecodesign,
  • Realise and update Ecodesign studies,
  • Lead and manage R&D actions in the context of product improvement and/or methodologies for Ecodesign. This is to respect quality, cost and delivery of R&D deliverables,
  • Ensure training & awareness actions to non-Ecodesign people

 

 

Job Specifications

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Railway Safety analysis and demonstration methods and tools,
  • Mechanical Engineering educational background applied to Railway products with 3 to 5 years of experience,
  • Time management skill,
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills,
  • Structured and organized with Hands-on approach,
  • English basics in read/writing (level B2),
  • French conversational/reading advanced level is preferred,
  • Better if knowledge of CATIA V5,
  • DOORS knowledge appreciated,
  • International Standards and Regulation knowledge
