Responsibilities

Projects

Leads the industrialisation validation of parts designed by the Interiors CoE all along the project development phase till the Serial Go: 

- Consolidates and formalise the industrial requirements/maintenance manufacturing site to integrate in the design,

- Propose supply chain flow / logistics engineering : packaging design, parts protection,

- Check engineering design (assembly perspective) for assembly time, flexibility and stacks,

- Support, or define or challenge AT jigs design,

- Analyses the impact of proposed technical solutions on :

Manufacturability : assembly process, assembly hours and standards solutions,

Logistics and train integration,

- Participates as Industrial representative in Product Design reviews,

- Fulfils and updates the follow-up documentation,

- Ensures the follow-up of 1st parts realisation and setting up of process (FAR),

- Leads industrial process review and the Internal FAI during integration in RS,

- Propose optimized work instructions to site (support, drawings, …),

- Improves the methods, the standards and check-lists based on the return of experience.

 

Standards

- Participate to costing tools (suppliers assembly time),

- REX Collection from sites,

- Propose industrial standards solutions for :

assembly process,

packaging design,

transversal knowledge in jigs design

 

Knowledge & Experience :

  • Engineer with 5 years of experience in industrialisation in Railway industry: good knowledge of joining technologies and assembly technics, Mechanical dimensioning methods, FMEA Methodology, Work analysis.
  • Knows and uses CATIA V5, DMA.
  • Knows main requirements coming from Logistics instructions and SAP use.
  • Able to specify technical requirements.
  • Able to work in an international environment and matrix organization structure: English spoken and written mandatory.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
