What are my responsibilities?

  • Deliver the project quality activities for Ecodesign deliverables to satisfy contract requirements

 

Organization & Reporting:

  • Hierarchically reports to Engineering Performance and Continuous Improvement Manager – CDSi Interiors

What are my responsibilities?

Ecodesign activities :

  • Recyclability calculations
  • Dangerous substances declarations (REACH, notifications)
  • Recycled content calculations
  • End of life manual
  • Recoverability calculations
  • Others DFQ Ecodesign deliverables : TVOC, unwanted materials, carbon footprint, energy consumptions, LIM…
  • Participate to Interiors design to insure achievement of contractual, legal and standard requirements in the field of Ecodesign
  • R&D : contributes to continuous improvement / R&D and strategic initiatives to support Alstom overall strategy in relation to eco-design (e.g. increase of recycled and recyclable rate, design for repairability, etc.)

 

Performance measurement :

  • Ecodesign KPI (% recyclability rate, % recycled content, OTIF CDRL)

 

 

Contribute to continuous improvement program :

  • Animate return of experience REX for his/her scope, sharing the operational experience and good practices through Return of Experience Database tool
  • Participate in the company's continuous improvement programs (APSYS)

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Minimum qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Engineering degree
  • Competency to use computer applications (Excel, Word…)
  • French and English fluent

Technical Knowledge / Experience

  • Min 3 years’ experience in the railway industry
  • Strong interest for Ecodesign framework
  • Materials and chemistry engineering
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Ecodesign degree

  • Linked with Ecodesign activities
  • Standards : ISO 14006, ISO 21106, ISO 22628, LCA calculations
  • Autonomous
  • Rigorous, orderly, methodical

Travel

 Open to national and very few international travels (total < 10% of time)
