You'll play a key role in leading and developing the Train Validation Engineers (TVE) team, ensuring consistent competency growth, and driving operational excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as tender and project teams, and central metier management), support issue resolution, and define priorities, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of managing your team’s workload and resource allocation, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and competency development.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing and developing the Train Validation Engineers (TVE) team for one or multiple sites, depending on the TDS organization

Ensuring the deployment of Alstom Transport AMS and corresponding Engineering instructions within the team

Contributing to the continuous improvement of the TVE team in collaboration with the site TV metier manager

Supporting TVE team members in resolving issues and defining priorities

Defining and implementing training plans aligned with team needs and Alstom’s strategy
-
Managing workload allocation, including sub-contracted support if applicable
-
Ensuring process conformity and alignment with EHS requirements

Consolidating and approving Train Validation commitments and performance for tenders and projects

Facilitating Return of Experience (RoE) transmission and capitalization between projects

Degree in Engineering or a related field

Experience in team management or leadership positions

Understanding of train validation processes and methodologies

Knowledge of Alstom Transport AMS and engineering instructions

Ability to manage resources and workloads efficiently
