For the TDS (Train Development Site) of Valenciennes, we are looking for a manager of experts in the following disciplines :

  • AeroX
  • Fire & Smoke
  • Ecodesign
  • Ergonomics

 

Responsibility :

 

As a manager, you will be responsible of

  • Growing the team in competency
  • Following the activities on the projects, tenders and R&D programs
  • Guaranteeing that the deliverables are supplied on time and in quality
  • Ensuring that the processes defined by the Metiers are applied
  • Guaranteeing the application of quality processes
  • Managing the workload and the budgets of the team
  • Following the workpackages transferred to LCC and other AT sites
  • Managing the sub-contractors
  • Ensuring continuous improvement of the team

 

Competency :

 

As a team leader, the following competencies are required :

 

  • Ability to communicate, listen and support the team
  • Ability to convince and animate the meetings
  • Ability to organize activities and give priority
  • Ability to take decisions
  • Ability to manage conflictual situations

 

Knowledge and experience : 

  • Previous experience in management is required
  • Of course, you don’t need to be an expert in all the disciplines that you will manage, but at least experience in one of them will be helpfull
  • Knowledge of DOORS or another requirements management software is a plus
  • Knowledge of APSYS, OBEYA and problem solving tools is a plus
  • Good communication skills, po-activity, team working is essential
  • English conversational/writing/reading advanced level mandatory
  • French conversational/writing/reading advanced level is preferred
