Purpose of the job :

The Retrofit Coordination Manager is in charge of organizing the whole process of retrofit, from the opening of a modification to the application on the last train.

He/She synchronises activities of industrialization, purchasing of retrofit materials, application on the trains and quality, relying on the corresponding heads of departments.

He/She is also in interface with Configuration Manager, in order to make sure that any changes is fully traceable from the start.

Organisation Structure : Assigned to the industrial team

Hierarchically : Hierarchically & Operationally : reports to the site manufacturing manager

Key Network & Links :

Internal (80%) : Configuration Manager, Industrialization, Supply Chain, Site industrial Planner, Production, Quality, PrIM / Chief Operation Manager

External (20%) : Supplier, Contractors, End Customer

Responsibilities :

Coordination the retrofit activities as described in Industrial Retrofit Management procedure (IND-RS-WMS-041):

• Based on the inputs from Projet Control Change Board, validate with PrIM / COO the industrial retrofit strategy (location, allocated time, indust. means and staffing…)
• Consolidate retrofit workloads and communicate it to manufacturing manager (3 month rolling vision)
• Plans activities of Industrialization and purchasing so that the modification is ready on time to start application
• Defines with project & industrial planning the retrofit planning and associated MPS milestones
• Ensure with PME retrofit team that material needs are integration within ERP system and that all relevant documents are available
• Ensure with Project Supply Chain manager & coordinator that procurement lead times are aligned with retrofit planning
• Monitor retrofit operation efficiency (Spent time vs. allocated time) and ensure reporting to PrIM / COO
• Controls that modification follow up file are updated according performed operations

Candidate Requirments :

• Education Requirement : Engineering Degree
• Experience : Past experience in similar position
• Technical skills : Good level in English
