You'll play a pivotal role in driving the end-to-end product development process, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and meeting quality and performance standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., Engineering, Procurement, Industrialization, Services), lead cross-functional train development activities, coordinate sub-system managers, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of representing the technical authority in customer-facing discussions and managing technical risks, but also ensuring compliance with contract technical requirements and Alstom standards.
We’ll look to you for:

Leading the end-to-end product development process, including validation and certification

Coordinating cross-functional train development activities across all project stakeholders

Endorsing design authority and making related decisions or trade-offs

Representing the technical authority in front of customers for key topics

Ensuring compliance with contract technical requirements and Alstom standards

Managing technical risks and defining mitigation plans

Setting and allocating technical and QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) objectives

Monitoring development progress and reporting on key milestones

Collaborating with sites and métiers to secure deliverables at the train level

Liaising with the Product Platform to address technical gaps and contribute to product evolution

Degree in Engineering or a related field

Experience or understanding of cross-functional project management in a technical environment

Knowledge of product development processes, quality standards, and risk management

Familiarity with configuration and change management practices

A certification in project management or systems engineering is a plus

Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
