Interiors Change and Configuration Leader (M/F)

 

Location: Valenciennes

You will join the Center of Excellence Interiors and be in charge of Change and configuration of all Alstom Interiors parts.

You will work with an international team (22 different nationalities) of designers, buyers, Industrial, quality engineer and project managers, in contact with all Alstom sites teams.

What are my responsibilities?

Responsible for the Change Management Process and for all the activities related to it on CoE; check and approval of issues as per CoE Standards; chair on CoE CCB meeting management; Also, responsible for the Configuration follow up of the scopes inside the Projects after P phase;

Key user of the Change Management Tool (CMT) and all the support activities, trainings, and accounts; Responsible for the CR(s) and CoE CONQ KPI;

  • Reports to : CoE Interiors Head of projects

Internal: Project Team Members (project manager, EGL, MLE, ME , CAD buyer, SPQD, costing, Engineers and CAD)

External: RS sites Project Change & Configuration Managers

 

Responsibilities

 

Issues checks and approvals, CoE CCB Meetings, Change Requests and configuration management as per the CoE Change Management Process

- Manage project baselines: baselines management after P phase (Configuration file checking)

- Set up, plan, organize and chair the CoE CCB meetings:

  • Collect the Change Requests deliverables from métiers (CR)
  • Verify that the changes are well documented and stored on CMT
  • Check if the Engineering package sent to supplier meets the CoE Change Management Process Requirements and CoE Rules
  • Collect the Issues information and send the CCB agenda it in advance to the participants of the CCB to check the impacts and perform analysis
  • Send the CCB MoM for Projects and monthly reports
  • To generate on CMT the CoE CR number after the CCB meeting for the approved CoE issues and provide them inside the Minutes on meeting (MoM)
    - Organize and update configuration and CR database for the project (CMT)
    - Follow up and monitor the Configuration matrix fulfilment on Projects and request corrections when applicable to meet the CoE standards
    - Ensure rigorous CR traceability and reporting (KPIs, released status in DMA, CR number on 2D title block)
    - Owner of CoE Change Management Process and Configuration Management Process
    - CoE Key user of CMT (training, support and account managements)
    - To compilate all the NRC/RC for the CR received from Sourcing to provide the cost impacts for the CoE CR(s)
    - To support engineering with the CoE Change Request Design Review meeting (CR DR) when requested
    - Responsible to close the CoE Issues and CoE CR when all the inputs were completed according to CoE standards
    - To check and guarantee that the CR CoE are corrected placed on the 2D sent to supplier and no deviation is found
    - To check and follow up the cross check between Configuration file and DMA for the packages sent to supplier; To do the necessary to have the match and according to CoE Rules and Change Management Process

- To create all the necessary structure for the Projects on CMT

 

Minimum qualifications

Knowledge & Experience :

- Good knowledge of railway products and systems,

- Knowledge of change & configuration management processes within ALSTOM way of Working

- Systematic, rigorous, and organized, able to sort out different matters at concurrent time period.

- Be able to challenge project team and highly proactive in proposing solutions within his domain

- Ability to detect side effects of ongoing changes to alert the relevant person.

- Able to identify process escapes and correct them on time

- Familiar to CoE Engineering Processes and tools (DMA, CATIA)
