Take on a new challenge and apply your technical leadership and analytical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in driving the success of our tender projects by ensuring seamless engineering management and delivering high-quality technical solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the Tender Core Team and Site Engineering Teams), perform technical exchanges with customers, and ensure the alignment of engineering deliverables with project objectives, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of managing technical interfaces and building robust engineering proposals, but also ensuring technical risks are identified and mitigated effectively.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing and coordinating the engineering team allocated to the tender

  • Ensuring smooth interfaces with the Tender Core Team and internal engineering stakeholders

  • Performing technical exchanges with customers to align requirements

  • Analyzing customer requirements and identifying gaps versus reference products

  • Providing technical documentation for tender submissions

  • Defining optimal solutions to address gaps in Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)

  • Identifying technical risks and implementing action plans to mitigate them

  • Establishing engineering QCD commitments, including master planning, costing, and risk management

  • Securing validation of engineering assumptions from key stakeholders

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Experience or understanding of tender processes and engineering management

  • Knowledge of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) principles

  • Familiarity with technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies

  • A project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus

  • Strong communication and customer interaction skills

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
