Alternant - R&D Validation Engineer (H/F)

You will join our Interiors Component Development Site and Product Family of Valenciennes Petite Forêt, a key actor in the design and development or interior train parts as well as front ends, with more than 180 people & 22 different nationalities, mechanical engineers & designers, buyers, industrial & quality engineers, project managers & product experts, working both for French & International projects.

You will join our Interiors R&D team responsible for developing & validating innovative & eco-friendly solutions, for all Alstom future trains (Tramways, Metros, Commuters, Regional & High Speed trains).
In particular, you will be assigned to Validation & Reliability group. The activities aim at refining technical specifications for all Interior equipments, to ensure robust enough solutions, compatible with a long-lasting usage in trains, while avoiding over-design.
Specifically, the intern shall support Requirements Engineering activities, which include: 
  - write Validation Plan for several R&D domains (surfaces, materials, mechanical integration)
  - collect REX on the external loads and events causing premature degradation of Interiors equipment
  - specifically, complete the requirements definition for moder surfaces (soft touch, wood veneer) and technologies providing metallic effects
