Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your welding expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and skilled teammates.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with welding specifications and standards, directly impacting the quality and safety of our products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality), provide technical support to various departments, and take part in supplier and customer audits, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of supervising the qualifications of welding staff and procedures, but also lead the "Welding Technique" group and drive continuous improvement in welding processes.
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring compliance with welding specifications and standards applicable to the markets

Serving as the reference for welding, with the authority to halt production if necessary

Providing technical support to Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Service, and Technology Transfer teams

Participating in the resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (R.N.C.)

Conducting supplier audits

Representing the company during audits (ISO 9001, ALSTOM, and customer audits)

Staying updated on technological advancements, standards, and materials
-
Supervising and piloting the qualifications of welding staff and procedures

Leading the "Welding Technique" group

Proposing and implementing improvements in welding quality and cost efficiency

Degree: IWE (International Welding Engineer) graduate or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience in the heavy metal welding industry

Ability to train engineers and welders

Experience in the locomotive or automobile industry (preferred)

10-12 years of professional experience in a similar field
-
Proficiency in English

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong team player with a collaborative mindset

Ability to manage diversity and work effectively in global teams

Demonstrated agility and ability to adapt to uncertainty

Customer-focused with strong integrity and managerial courage
