Overall Purpose of the job

  • To coordinate the industrial control of the Special Processes (SP) during tender phase, product development, industrialization, manufacturing and warranty.
  • To contribute to technology and activity transfers – Training and documentation scope.
  • Actively contribute to meetings and working groups of the Special Process network.
  • Report Special Processes KPIs at regional level and drive actions for improvement.
  • Contribute to building of the manufacturing line, best practices from donor site (Tarbes and Charleroi).
  • Lead and drive Industrial’s themes/clauses for APSYS, QMS- IRIS (ISO/TS 22163), EHS (AZDP) and EMS Management


  • To Train the technicians and MEPs in Special Processes execution and management
  • Be part of the CFT that Qualifies technician’s skill level on Special Process.
  • Ensure day to day monitoring and solve issues concerning Special Process
  • Ensure continuous training and permanent qualification of the workers to Special Process.
  • Train support functions on Special Process (PME, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality)
  • Contribute to analysis of industrial risk through Process FMEA and associated improvement action plan.
  • Guarantee internal control and good application of process rules in line with customers’ requirements.
  • Perform internal audits & workstation inspections and drive for actions closure.
  • In case of non-conformity or incident, investigate root causes, finds and implement repair solutions
  • Take part in definition of Workstations organization and layout of the line.
  • Support manufacturing people with their day-to-day assembly issues in order to reach Quality/Cost/Delay commitments of the manufacturing
  • Participate in the product development phase with the platform in order to assure a product with the best cost and quality according to the project requirements.
  • Take part in Continuous improvement and Propose improvement ideas and evolution of the business rules of their domain.
  • Identify and minimize all risks and maximize savings in Training process
  • Improve spent time for manufacture the product through improvised training methodology
  • Take part in Line balancing and improving the work efficiency.
  • Contributes during specification and design phases to technical solution decisions associated to special processes.
  • Ensure deployment and validation of new processes in line with project planning
  • Build the SP REX and interact with product engineering to redirect the design if necessary.

  • Skill level of Technicians according to Site requirement
  • Special Process Management as per IRIS / QMS requirement
  • Compliance of APSYS standards – Level 3 for Industrial function.
  • Updating of PFMEA and Actions in place to reduce RPN >100
  • Zero nonconformity during internal or external audits.
  • Contribution to site industrial QCD targets.
  • Manufacturing and Quality documents are available in due time and to the good quality level.

Qualifications and skills


  • B.E Electrical/Mechanical /industrial Engineering/Production

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office


  • 6 to 10 years’ experience in industrial processes training
  • Hands on experience in delivering Technician’s training and qualification
  • Experience in creating Training documentation
  • Knowledge and experience in QMS, EMS & OHSAS – ISO/TS 22163 is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean Management (Toyota Production System)
  • Experience in Creating and deploying OPL (One-point lessons)
  • Experience in Digitalization of Training methodology
  • Practice any special process management from 2 to 5 years (execution, definition, qualification)
  • Has been trained to AT Special Process standard training.
  • Is officially recognised as expert by the Special Process central coordinator


  • Experience in Manufacturing / Process Engineering, Process Training: 6 to 10 years
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English language,
