Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your logistics and supply chain expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods that power Alstom’s innovative projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Material Planning, Procurement, Warehouse Operations, and Project Supply Chain Teams), coordinate with external partners like material suppliers and logistics providers, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of inbound deliveries from both domestic and international vendors, but also optimize cargo loads and ensure compliance with clearance activities.
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring timely inbound delivery from import and domestic vendors

Generating and validating pickup request forms and documentation

Optimizing cargo loads for direct deliveries (LTL/FTL) to the platform
-
Collaborating with projects for budget approvals and procurement processes
-
Coordinating with logistics service providers (LSPs) for pickup planning and execution
-
Monitoring pre-alerts, clearance activities, and local transport movements
-
Applying APSYS roadmap and standards
-
Respecting Alstom’s EHS policy and contributing to EHS improvements

Engineering Degree (BE in ECE, EEE, or Mechanical) with experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation

Experience or understanding of logistics planning, LCL consolidation, air freight execution, and customs clearance processes

Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel Macro, PowerPoint, Access)

Familiarity with procurement, material control, or parts control functions
-
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Strong planning and organizing abilities

Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

Proficiency in English (fluent)
