Fleet support centre Manager

Purpose of the Job:

  • Coordinate a team of railway engineers and data analyst  making sure their tasks are executed as per QCD commitment
  • Ensure that the project workload needs are well forecasted and anticipated by the Fleet Support Center mgr
  • Animate and lead operationally the  transversal team composed by FSC members, System Engineers, Troubleshooters and Product introduction engineers  in charge to  define reports and processes for the  fleet availability improvement
  • Ensure that the Fleet support Center  Processes, Methods and Tools are applied on projects
  • Deliver projects according to QCD, Contract and Safety commitments as specified at contract signature & related signed Variation Orders
  • Guide the growth of the team and the evolution of the organization according to the provisions received from the country level

    Responsabilities :
  • To design maintenance diagnostics for the assigned project
  • To optimize corrective maintenance operation by development of standard internal procedure for troubleshooting.
  • Review all equipment failures, downtime reports and equipment histories to uncover reoccurring maintenance problems.  As appropriate he will utilize continuous improvement tools to identify root cause and work to implement a solution helping the RG team.
  • Take advantage of the  fault three and hazard analysys to identifie equipment or subsystem where CBM approach will ensure major returns.
  • To take part in the  train health monitoring process  by defining rules for the diagnosis.
  • To provide remote support  for critical trouble shooting activities
  • Participates in critical task-force dedicated to troubleshooting when needed
     
    Educational Requirements:
  • Graduated in electronics or electro-technical engineering
     
    Technical Knowledge / Experience
  • Experience in TCMS development or validation or  commissioning 
  • Experience at system level  in Railway industries or big industrial plant (Power, naval etc.)
