We are currently looking to recruit a PIM (Product Industrial Manager) for our Train Control & Communication team located in Västerås, Sweden.
The life cycle for electronic products for the railway industry is normally more than 30 years. This place high demands on the design of the product, the industrialisation, and the management of the product.
The main task of the PIM (Product Industrial Manager) is to manage the industrial quality of TCMS electronic products during the complete life cycle:
- Support in DFM (Design For Manufacturing) and DFT (Design For Testability) in the electronic HW development process.
- Manage the industrial process for electronic products.
- Manage Life Cycle Management for electronic products.
This role spans over a wide area, which requires a lot but at the same time means great opportunities for personal development.
The PIM will work close together with our electronic suppliers, our product owners, HW development teams, bids, quality engineers, component engineers etc.
Qualifications:
Relevant academic background, e.g. Master’s Degree in Electronics
Typically, 3 to 5 years’ experience of working with industrial/automotive electronics
Knowledge about electronics (PCBA) manufacturing and its processes
Knowledge about testing, both in production and during development
Knowledge and experience of railway standards, e.g. EN50155
Desired competencies: communication, team leadership, teamwork, problem solving, plan
Used to work methodically and good at following things up to finish them on time
Good documentation skills
Fluent in English and Swedish.
