Could you be the full-time PROJECT SUPPLY CHAIN LEADER in Bilbao we’re looking for?  


 

 

Your future role 

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your Supply Chain and Managing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and talented teammates. 

 

You'll ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies. Know and follow all safety, environmental and emergency procedures and much more. 

 

You’ll specifically take care of participate in all aspects of safety including reporting of near misses and meetings, but also ensure the storage of materials, guarantee the quantities stored and the correct storage conditions.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensure the material availability, integrity & delivery on time on production line
  • Manage the physical material flows (reception, put away, kitting, mirror area, shipping) to always keep physical and system flows aligned
  • Ensure the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution is implemented and correctly used by Logistics operators
  • Work closely with Warehouse Key User to manage the stock in the ERP system according to the core model and to train Logistics operators
  • Monitor & challenge the performance of each warehouse activity through Key Performance Indicators
  • Apply the inventory process in compliance with Alstom standard rules (DOA (Delegation of Authority), instruction)
  • Actively contributes to the Continuous Improvement activities & APSYS (Alstom Production System) roadmap and leading deployment of all Alstom programs related to Logistics on his own site
  • Define the warehouse layout and optimize the storage space (layout, warehouse sizing, slow moving stock / scrapping process, …)
  • Put in place mirror area in the warehouse to optimize line feeding activities (Kanban flow, sequence, …)
  • Plan and manage material receipt, inbound transportation, stock entry, picking and kitting, line feeding, packing, shipping, outbound transportation, inventory accuracy, scrap process
  • Respect any specific storage regulations (chemicals, battery, …)
  • Secure inventory accuracy and organize physical counting activities (both cycle counting and wall to wall)
  • Ensure the continually improvement of the warehouse organisation & processes
  • Quarantine non-conforming material and follow up non-conformity resolution
  • Analyse the Root Causes of any logistic issues and agree with the internal stakeholders on corrective actions. Follow up on these actions and participate in their realization
