In a context of high stakes and within the framework of the deployment of our new electrical sector, a position of Lean / Operational Excellence Engineer (F/H) is to be filled within our Electrical Development Center based in Toulouse - Occitanie.
Reporting to the Industrial Manager of the Toulouse site, you are responsible for the deployment of the industrial performance roadmap on your perimeter (3 manufacturing sites in Europe/Asia/North Africa). You will accompany the production start-ups of electrical products for Alstom projects on these sites. You will be required to travel regularly to our industrial partners.
Your Missions:
- Support manufacturing sites of wiring solutions & electrical cabinets, in their product industrialization phase
- Contribute to the industrial performance of production sites
- Propose and guarantee the implementation of industrial standard solutions for the manufacturing of electrical products
- Work in close collaboration with the project teams of the Electrical Development Center to guarantee the QCD objectives of the different projects you will be working on
- Evaluate industrial maturity of manufacturing sites, identify the activities for which business support is required and share the state of play with a view to implementing a wider action plan
- Define with the teams, the main steps of Lean transformation of the production site to improve the performance of the site and customer satisfaction
Profile:
- You have 5 years of experience in the implementation of continuous improvement/lean projects and/or in an operational management position.
- You have learned and developed your mastery of Lean tools within a large industrial structure.
- Communicator, Leader
- Organized, rigorous and able to evolve in a demanding environment
- You combine a strategic vision with an operational approach in the field
- You know how to evolve in complex international matrix organizations
- You are fluent in English
