Could you be the full-time Bid Manager in Toulouse we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Guillaume Jean, Tender Manager.

 

Purpose of the job:

You will actively participate to the creation of high quality winning bids. You will coordinate cross site and cross functional proposal teams within EDC (Electrical Development Center) to prepare offers.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Participate to definition and follow up of achievable bid plans including schedule, resource and budget requirements
  • Manage information from internal/external customer and Sales relating to the bid process and ensure timely implementation
  • Coordinate multi-functional bid teams in charge of developing of technical, and commercial solution offered to our customers.
  • Participate to definition of relevant target cost and challenge of internal functions
  • Coordinate risks & opportunities, building of harmonized schedule
  • Ensure compliance to internal bid process and governance
  • Coordinate preparation of submission documents  
  • Follow-up of final negotiation and hand-over to project execution

 

Qualifications :

  • Technical degree in an Engineering – or mix with economics - discipline (Mechanical, Electrical preferred);
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in project management/bids/sales/procurement
  • Capacity to listen various stakeholders, and understand complex situations
  • Ability to convince internal EDC and external EDC stakeholders
  • Ability to meet high quality and accuracy standards
  • Presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Team oriented
  • Experience of working with other cultures
  • Knowledge and skills in MS Office (Primavera is a plus)
  • Business fluent level in French and English languages
