Could you be the full-time Vehicle Maintenance Manager in Finch, Ontario we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your railway expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Senior Project Manager, Richard France, and work alongside exceptional, enthusiastic and collaborative teammates.

You'll be creating great value as you help ensure production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved through the execution of the production plan and through the efficient management of resources. Day-to-day, you’ll work with your team to ensure trains are delivered on time in a safe, clean and fully functional condition to our customers and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of Management, EHS, Performance, and Continuous Improvement tasks supporting our LRV Line in Finch.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Manage a Maintenance Team, including monitoring and controlling Maintenance on a shift-by-shift basis.
  • Ensure all Maintenance activities meet the Safety and Quality requirements of internal standards, customer specifications.
  • Review work plans to ensure daily production targets are met as effectively and efficiently as possible. Conduct analysis where there was a failure to achieve production
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement by analysis from maintenance/service operation reports and customer complaints, initiating action to ensure improvements.

  •  Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • +5 years of experience within railway industry
  • Experience or understanding of  fleet and /or maintenance operations and planning role.
