Could you be the full-time Finance Project Management (FPM) VIE in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) we’re looking for?

 

Purpose of the Job:

To support the Finance Project Management (FPM) organization in Signalling & Infrastructure Business, Canada. The candidate will have first hand experience of finance project reviews, work package reviews and many transverse finance topics during this VIE tenure, ensuring accelerated learning, high visibility and a fast track to personal and professional development.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Act as Finance Project manager (FPM) in preparing periodic Project reviews with all relevant financial analysis.
  • Prepare the Estimate to complete analysis with the PM and Work Package Controllers.
  • Assure Customer invoicing is completed as soon as possible and play an active role in securing payment from Customer in due time.
  • Manage project bond requirements and hedging to limit exposure.
  • Participate in Project Management team meetings, risk sessions, and all decision-making concerning Project financial or contractual aspects.
  • Ensure accuracy of actuals and estimates to complete, drive transparency of financials.
  • Ensure cost components' quality, cost, and delivery commitment is properly documented/backed up and monitored on monthly basis.
  • Ensure the economic and financial management of the project, following all company procedures and ensuring risks and opportunities are managed to optimize the project financial targets.
  • Manage change order opportunities and provide financial support for claims management.
  • Support external and internal financial and process audits
  • Support budget and forecasting activities on high critical projects
  • Perform other related duties and ad-hoc analysis as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel

  • Fluency in English
