The GO Expansion scope: new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.

Objectives

  • To support and lead all aspects of Design and Construction System Integration at the Turnkey Level including subsystems, civils, operations and other projects led by Customer
  • To represent E&M (Alstom) for System Integration in all client and partner meetings, workgroups, Design Review Meetings and Interdisciplinary Reviews as Required

 

Responsibilities

 

Oversee and ensure subsystem System Integration programs are aligned with Turnkey Level Integration Program

Develop and maintain System Integration Management Plan throughout the lifecycle of the project updating as required to address any changes affecting the Integration program

Develop Integration Constraints ensuring inclusion in Architecture and Design if required

Perform analysis of integration methodologies justifying integration approach used

Provide Analysis and justification of scope which is required to be Verify/Validated and which is not

Develop and manage overall System Integration Strategy

Define all Enabling Systems and Services required (including access and schedule) to perform System Integration

Ensure the Test and Commissioning program aligns with the System Integration Program as required

Liaise with System Engineering, Interface, Engineering Assurance and RAMS teams on a daily basis

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in Engineering, PEng preferred
  • Working knowledge of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2023 Systems and Software Engineering - Systems Life Cyle Processes
  • Working knowledge of ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-6 Systems and Software Engineering - Life Cylce Mangement - Part 6 : System Integration Engineering
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively
  • Knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements,
  • At least 10 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions including 5 years in Railway projects
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of the rail environment and engineering practices
  • Good coordination and communication
