Could you be the full-time Testing & Commissioning Tester in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
- Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your testing and commissioning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a central role in transforming the collective mobility of Canada’s busiest transit system, contributing to the success of the GO Expansion project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including engineering and Verification & Validation teams), troubleshoot test failures, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all testing operations.
You’ll specifically take care of preparing testing procedures, executing specific testing activities as per instructions, and supporting the V&V team when required, but also maintaining a focus on safety and quality, including reporting and using the correct tools for test activities.
We’ll look to you for:
Preparation and execution of testing activities across projects or programs
Adherence to safety and quality standards in all testing operations
Effective use of all the IT equipment for testing.
Troubleshooting the test failures and providing all the information to the Engineering team.
Clear communication and alerting superiors of any identified risks
Support to the V&V team and performance of tests on platforms/in factories as needed
Compliance with EHS procedures and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Learn the Canadian Railway Operating Rules (CROR).

Bachelor degree or Engineering Graduate in Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent.
5+ Years of experience in the railway industry.
Experience or understanding of Testing & Commissioning activities in Telecom systems
Knowledge of railway signalling technologies
Familiarity with EHS procedures
Strong communication skills in English. French is an asset.
Proficiency MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with ICONIS products (e.g., ATS CF, ATS CT, S2K-AGUI, S2K-UHMI) is an asset.
