Could you be the full-time Engineering Senior Manager in Willowbrook we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside exceptional, enthusiastic, and collaborative teammates.
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers’ operations and maintenance missions are supported with innovative solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including maintenance, project engineering, and customer service teams, to troubleshoot and address vehicle safety, reliability, and availability challenges. You’ll also represent Alstom at customer facilities, assisting internal teams with maintenance issues, coordinating project-related activities, and participating in design reviews as needed.
You’ll specifically take care of investigating and resolving technical challenges, but also optimizing fleet performance and ensuring compliance with technical documentation updates.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing and overseeing troubleshooting, investigations, and collaboration with engineering teams to propose and implement solutions.

Coordinating and providing operational support for service incidents.

Utilizing business tools to determine appropriate corrective actions after events or incidents.
-
Analyzing system data to identify and implement corrective actions.
-
Reviewing fleet defect positions to minimize service failure risks.
-
Providing technical advice to depots to support service delivery.
-
Maintaining a deep understanding of train systems, railway operations, and business tools.
-
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for technical support and advice.
-
Leading the optimization of all fleets under GO Maint.
-
Ensuring technical documentation is updated across projects.
-
Supporting problem-solving tools like 8D and participating in business improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and Lean methodologies.

Representing Alstom professionally and ensuring safety at all times, whether on-site or at external locations.

Complying with Alstom's People Management procedures and Environmental, Quality, and Health and Safety policies.

Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience or understanding of heavy rail transportation systems.

Knowledge of maintenance processes and technical troubleshooting.

A certification in project management or a related discipline is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
