Your future role 

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute significantly to our infrastructure modernization and automation efforts.  Take on a new challenge and apply your DevOps engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in modernizing and automating our infrastructure, contributing to the seamless integration and scalability of our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, IT, and project stakeholders), optimize DevOps infrastructure, and much more. We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute significantly to our infrastructure modernization and automation efforts. 
We’ll look to you for: 

  • Defining the architecture and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell, 

  • Assessing and optimizing the current DevOps infrastructure, 

  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to define and execute deployment strategies tailored to project needs and timelines, 

  • Defining the branching strategy and maintaining version control using GitLab server instances, ensuring code integrity and version management, 

  • Providing expertise and guidance on configuration management, continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure automation, 

  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, documenting, and implementing best practices and standards, 

  • Evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to enhance DevOps capabilities, 

  • Training and mentoring junior team members on DevOps practices, tools, and techniques

  • Degree in Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline, 

  • Experience or understanding of DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell, 

  • Knowledge of VMware and Suse Harvester virtualized environments, 

  • Familiarity with GitLab for version control and branching strategies, 

  • A certification or communication skill: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, 

  • Expertise in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, and PowerShell scripting, 

  • Strong experience with Linux systems administration (e.g., Suse, Ubuntu, CentOS, and/or Red Hat), 

  • Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for automation and administrative tasks.
