Could you be the full-time Security Manager in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your security and risk management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and dedicated team of professionals.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, customers, contractors, assets, and operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, regulatory agencies, emergency services, and external partners, while leading the implementation and continuous improvement of our Security Program, with a dotted line to the Americas Security Director.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and maintaining our mandatory Security Plan and conducting comprehensive security risk assessments, but also managing incident response and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
We’ll look to you for:

Developing and maintaining the organization’s Security Plan, ensuring alignment with operational needs, regulations, and best practices

Establishing and maintaining security procedures, SOPs, and audit-ready documentation

Conducting and updating Security Risk Assessments and maintaining the Security Risk Register

Implementing and overseeing site and facility security measures, inspections, and audits

Leading the response to security threats and incidents, including investigations and corrective actions

Ensuring mandatory security training and awareness programs for designated personnel

Coordinating annual security exercises and preparedness activities

Maintaining strong relationships with law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and external partners

Protecting sensitive information and systems from fraud or malicious activity
- Frequent travels around the GTHA required (weekly basis)

Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Security certifications such as CPP, PSP, CSMP, CTIA, or CISSP preferred

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in security management, law enforcement, military, or critical infrastructure, with supervisory experience and strong knowledge of the local/national security environment

Experience in transportation or infrastructure, crisis management, or working with regulatory agencies preferred
-
Proficiency in security risk assessment and planning

Strong crisis management capabilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $105,000 – $130,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
