Objective

Manages the system requirements processes and the system requirements engineers inside a project

Responsibilities
•    Develop and maintain project Requirement Management (RM) Plan.
•    Manage the requirements received from customer or generated by the project, including both technical and non-technical requirements following Alstom Requirement Management and Configuration Control procedures.
•    Build up and maintain traceability between the User needs and Project Requirements Database requirements.
•    Create and maintain an approved requirements baseline applicable to project.
•    Ensure that all the requirements of the requirement baseline are necessary and sufficient, allocated, verified and validated, implemented and tested along the project lifecycle.
•    Generate monthly KPIs with proper analysis and actions to correct project requirement issues.
•    Create the Requirement verification and Traceability Matrix,and manage the evolution over the life of the project.
•    Identify and assess the gaps between the project requirements baseline, the project plans and the project subsystem requirements baselines.
•    Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of a requirement process.
•    Support project stakeholders on requirements management and facilitate related activities
•    Apply lessons learned from other RM experiences and take the necessary corrective actions for ongoing projects
•    Perform other related duties as needed
•    Travel required as needed 

Educational Requirements
•    Engineering Bachelor’s degree or related technical discipline and 5-7 years of related requirements management experience
•    5 years of system engineering experience
•    DOORS experience is desired.
