Could you be the full-time Supervision Control Center Project Manager in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
You’ll drive the deployment of the Supervsion Control Center (SCC) solution, ensuring they meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Teams, Support Functions, Tender and Project Office), manage stakeholder relationships, including customer and patners, and ensuring coordination and delivery of the projects objectives.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Accountability for project QCDP performance and optimizing financial outcomes
  • Defining project strategy in alignment with contractual requirements
  • Leading and coordinating project activities from transfer to close-out
  • Proactive risk, savings, and opportunity management
  • Transparent reporting on project progress and KPIs to senior management
  • Ensuring compliance with Alstom’s ethical, safety, and quality standards


All about you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM); a Master’s Degree in STEM or Business is desirable
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Experience or understanding of project management within the railway industry
  • Experience working in multi-national companies and different business cultures
  • Familiarity with Alstom’s way of working for efficient process execution (desirable)
  • Global knowledge of Supervision Control Center solutions
  • Project management skills; IPMA or PMP certification is desirable
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Entrepreneurship mindset and results-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in project management processes
  • Capacity to lead and ensure collaboration among multi-site, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Fair sensitivity to customer needs
