Key accountabilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the establishment of field modification files, warranty support, APM commissioning and any other relevant documentation
  • Staffing and liaising with procurement to ensure timely supplies of associated tools and materials, interfacing with the production site and the PI team
  • Verify field modification files including test procedure (complete, availability, validation)
  • Coordinate and ensure timely deployment (and optimization of train downtime) of all modifications in collaboration with the Project management, PI and the customer
  • Ensure quality, cost and delays of the field modifications through a selection of appropriate competencies (e.g. special processes)
  • Communicate to all parties’ progress and configurations during the field modification deployment
  • Support PrPIM in all field modification, warranty, and commissioning related matters
  • Implement and enforce EHS requirements on PI customer site with the support of EHS team representatives
  • Ensure PI processes are respected
  • Ensure the implementation of appropriate action plans if any deviation or non-conformity in the perimeter of FM implementation
  • Supervise Supplier modification implementation if necessary

 

Performance measurements:

  • Respect of QCD for field modification deployment
  • Availability of Rolling Stock 
  • Customer acceptance and quality level of final field modification and APM commissioning
  • Respect for EHS rules and work-related processes

 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Mandatory: Certified Technician or Undergraduate in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronic)
  • Minimum IT knowledge § Internal EHS training Desirable: § Graduate in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronic)

Experience:

  • Several years of customer depot environment
  • Field Experience
  • EHS knowledge and exposure
  • Product knowledge
  • Capacity to analyze supply contracts
  • Team management (if applicable)

 

Desirable:

  • Engineering knowledge
  • Customer contact and relations
  • Transparent communication and interrelational skills
