Could you be the full-time Onboard Installation and Field Operations Manager in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in ERTMS and Mainline Signaling On-Board Site Operations to a groundbreaking project. You’ll work alongside highly skilled, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in leading the first deployment of an ERTMS solution in North America, creating a significant impact on the future of rail transportation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business, including project management, installation engineering, procurement, and logistics, ensuring seamless integration of the complete system within Mainline On-Board Signaling scope, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of planning and managing on-site activities and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance, but also lead the continuous improvement of installation and testing processes.
We’ll look to you for:

Planning and managing all Mainline Signaling On-Board Site Operations in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Leading the entire installation design lifecycle from system design through detailed design, industrialization and implementation.
- Ensuring the integration and installation of the complete system, including test and commissioning activities.
- Taking end-to-end accountability for quality, cost, delivery, and performance for the project scope.

Ensuring compliance with EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standards.

Managing and organizing site activities, including facilities, resources, access, and tools.

Coordinating procurement and logistics activities for installation and testing equipment.

Degree in Engineering or a related field.

10+ years experience of ERTMS and Mainline Signaling systems. Rolling Stock familiarity helpful.

Knowledge of installation and field operations processes and standards.

Familiarity with managing subcontractors and third-party interfaces.

A project management certification is a plus.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $140,000 – $180,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
