Could you be the Lead Earthing & Bonding Engineer we’re looking for in Toronto, ON?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive and specialized expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute to the safety and efficiency of power systems by ensuring the integrity of earthing and bonding applications. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the Civil Design Group, HV Power, and SCADA teams), lead the development of OESC compliant grounding systems, and much more.
We’ll look to you for
-
Designing OESC compliant grounding systems for power systems,
-
Demonstrating full familiarity with OESC and IEEE80 standards,
-
Modeling grounding designs for appropriate selection and calculation of mutual coupling,
-
Creating clean or protected grounds for protection and SCADA purposes,
-
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements

P.Eng certification,
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field,

Experience or understanding of grounding HV power, protection and control systems, SCADA, and LV Power systems,

Knowledge of OESC compliant grounding systems and IEEE80 standards,
-
Knowledge of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) principles preferred
-
Excellent communication and leadership abilities,
-
Proven track record of acting as engineer of record for complex projects
