Join us as Health and Safety Specialist, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Toronto Ops (ON), CA.


As an HSE Advisor, you will be responsible to actively support towards a Health, Safety & Environment preventive culture together with the Head of HSE site, managers and employees of a lead site and any other significant site in relation to a specific HSE discipline. You will positively and actively drive at the site a continually improving focus on preventive actions, reduction of injuries and promoting health and environmentally friendly operations, being a consult to key stakeholders with technical expertise.




  • Implement prevention programs to address local business risks through for example the risk management process and accident/incident investigation and assist local management team in the interpretation and application of HSE legal and other external requirements;
  • Assist management in the interpretation and application of legal and Bombardier HSE requirements, ensures appropriate record keeping. Monitor HSE performance of the site and perform regular checks;
  • Coach site management and employees on key programs such as accident/incident investigations and HSE risk assessments;
  • Support deployment of key HSE behaviours and processes such as HSE Tours, Safety Observations, etc;
  • Perform internal HSE Audits and support external HSE Audits, ensures appropriate record keeping.
  • Provide input in the Safety Management System dealing with the regulatory regime.




  • Technical education with Health, Safety and Environment background;
  • Recently acquired additional qualifications as Safety professional or Environmental professional;
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required
  • Capabilities to communicate with all levels of an organization;
  • Change management and problem solving capabilities;
  • Structured, independent and hands on working approach.
