Could you be the full-time GSI Key User (KU) in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in digital operations and process improvement in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, detail-oriented, and innovative team of professionals.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our digital systems, processes, data, and tools at the site level, driving efficiency and effectiveness in our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with regional business process experts, the IS region team, and various site stakeholders to ensure adherence to the core model Information Solution, provide first-level support, and lead training initiatives for end-users.

You’ll specifically take care of monitoring and improving key operational and digital indicators, as well as ensuring data accuracy and system compliance, but also identifying and implementing process and tool enhancements.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Monitoring and driving improvements to all operational and digital indicators (metrics & KPIs).

  • Ensuring the correct use of systems, adherence to processes, and data accuracy.

  • Performing system management tasks, such as IDOC and COGI error management.

  • Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for process, data, system, and tool issues.

  • Providing technical support and training to end-users, including creating and maintaining training documentation.

  • Managing system user access and authorizations in alignment with internal control rules.

  • Collaborating with regional business process experts to identify and implement improvements, system automation, and KPI reporting needs.

  • Testing system or tool changes and leading site deployment of relevant updates, including change management efforts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • Experience in Alstom systems/tools and processes within the assigned streams.

  • Strong expertise in solving complex system process problems and leading process improvements.

  • Proficiency in training and mentoring others effectively.

  • Proven leadership and influencing skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to adapt to change and perform effectively in challenging or ambiguous situations.

  • Experience working in an international and matrixed organization.

  • Fluency in English.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is $80,000 – $105,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
