Reliability is one of the most important performances expected by our Customers and it needs a consistent monitoring program.

Upon introducing a new fleet into operations, the growth in Reliability needs to be driven to reach the expected targets in an as short as possible time.

Ultimately, feeding our Design teams and suppliers with Reliability data is paramount to ensure continuous improvements of Alstom products.

All along the lifetime of a fleet operation, Reliability is a top Engineering topic to monitor and drive.

 

You'll support the vehicle and system performance by defining reliability requirements allowing to enhance their capability to meet the expected reliability targets.  

 

 Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, coordinate the different reliability contributors working on the Project for the relevant scope (Train or Subsystem) and much more.

 

You’ll specifically take care of applying the Alstom Transport/Engineering Reliability processes & instructions but also manage the Reliability activities and related deliverables in accordance with QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery) commitments on the project/program. You'll not just bound on one project or site, position will required to manage different site/project as needed basis.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES 

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • During the operation and maintenance phase, the Reliability Co-ordinator validates field failure data collected by the Warranty team and supplies them to the RAM Return of Experience Leader of the Centre of Excellence.; issues the standardised 2-page RAM report.; supplies necessary inputs to RAM Key Performance Indicators KPI
  • In close coordination with the Quality function, he/she takes part in the reliability growth management process.
  • Supporting the other stakeholders (design, industrial, sourcing, validation etc..) in the definition of appropriate measures to meet the reliability actions. 
  • Being the point of contact for Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) matters on the project/program for the corresponding scope (Train / Subsystem) in particular to the Customer (internal or external). 
  • Consolidating the Reliability, Availability & Maintainability( RAM)contribution from the participating suppliers and units and external suppliers
  • Performing the reliability design reviews as per the project/program schedule 
  • Analyzing issues identified in the field having a significant impact on the product Reliability performance and ensure the outcome of their resolution is capitalised in the relevant process/product documentation.
  • Be the point of contact for RAMs engineer for on-site communication and work with the team of technicians to gathered technichal info on the failure
  • Be able to work hands on when required to understnad the failure 
  • Able to generate the Relaibiliity report and organize technichal meetings with customer and other stake holder 

 

Qualification but not limited to :

  • Bachelor in data analysis, Enginerring 
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of data analysis and statistics.
  • Excellent command of the MS Excel (Advance) 
  •  Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Maximo, GSI (CMMS) basic knowledge
  • Communication skills to obtain the collaboration of the parties involved in the project
  • Analytical, responsive, strategic, customer-oriented, communicative, challenging and winning attitude.
  • Zero tolerance for ethics and compliance.
  • Be very sensitive to safety.
