The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.
Alstom is seeking a Electrification Project Coordinator. This individual will be responsible to support the Electrification management team for the project.
Responsibilities
Manage interfaces at project-level team members & internal stakeholders/partners through several specific tasks :
• Prepare weekly and monthly internal and external reporting for various meetings (Alstom reviews, VizRoom, Control room, internal Elec reviews) along with the Deputy Electrification Manager,
• Lead Electrification Design KPIs reporting using innovative tools, aligning proposed reporting methods with other internal stakeholders and subsystems,
• Support Electrification Project control Manager around subcontractors and suppliers coordination, including business cases preparation until Client approval but also internal readyness until internal approval of suppliers/subcontractors selection,
• Propose and implement collaborative actions across Electrification teams, including new way of working with remote teams and strengthened communication within the teams.
• Prepare and/or coordinate preparation of external deliverables required for Bundles submission, in full alignement with Alstom Bid team, Electrification team members and any other internal or external stakeholders,

The Electrification team is mainly composed of on-shore located in Toronto, Canada, and off-shore part located in France, Mexico and Italy.
Reporting
This position will report to the Head of Electrification.
The candidate will liaise with:
- Engineering: On-shore, off-shore Engineering teams and Transverse Engineering team
- Construction : POS and OCS Construction teams
- Project: Electrification management, System and other sub-systems management teams
- Customer, Consultants, External stakeholders
- Civil Works, Track works and O&M partners
- Interfacing sub-systems (Rolling Stock, Trackworks, Signalling, Civil works)
- Regional Centers and Central platforms
Performance Measurements
- On-time delivery: 100%,
- Compliance to Site works Work Package: 100%,
- Respect of Design For Quality (DFQ) milestones: 100% Go On Time, in accordance with the standards or rules of his Metier,
- Respect of performances of the system provided: 100%.
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
Desirable:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration and/ or
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Project Management
Experience
- A first successful experience of 2-5 years in coordination and management of Turnkey project,
- Good understanding of Electrification subsystem,
- Good knowledge of Alstom PMO processes
- Autonomy, Result and Solution oriented, motivated and interested in innovative Project Management ways of working
- Fluent in English, second language appreciated
