Could you be the full-time onsite Civil Engineering Design Manager in Toronto, ON, CA we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your seasoned and multifaceted expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You'll provide pivotal leadership and direction in the realm of civil works, ensuring the successful planning and execution of infrastructure projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project management, construction, and design), oversee the preparation of technical specifications and manage external civil engineering contracts, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Leadership in the planning and execution of civil engineering subcontracting activities,

Strategic planning of project timelines and deliverables, as well as budget management,

Collaboration with cross-functional teams (i.e Electrification, Installation, etc.) to align civil engineering activities with overall project objectives,
-
Mentoring and developing team members to foster a continuous learning environment,
-
Preparation of detailed specifications for civil works projects and scope of works,
-
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Degree in Civil Engineering or related field,

PEng Accreditation or equivalent certification,

Experience of major Civil Rail Infrastructure projects,

Knowledge of civil work engineering principles and practices,

Capacity for strategic planning and execution,

Adaptability to evolving industry standards and technologies,

Proven leadership and team management abilities
