Could you be the Civil Engineering Design Lead we’re looking for in Toronto, ON?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive civil engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You'll be instrumental in shaping the landscape of our projects by being responsible for directing the coordination across systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, BIM Specialists, and Quality Assurance), lead integration design and built meetings, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Guiding the TPF Civil Design subcontractor in the execution of their tasks,

  • Directing the coordination across systems for integrated design solutions,

  • Applying knowledge of Civil Design for complex foundations, groundworks, grading, formwork, and cable/piping ways,

  • Acting as the coordinator between Alstom Interface and Power supply Design Team to ensure seamless integration,

  • Following the delivery schedule of Civil Work design and subsystem installation design to maintain project timelines

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field,

  • Professional Engineer license

  • Knowledge of Civil Design principles for complex foundations, groundworks, grading, formwork, and cable/piping ways,

  • Excellent communication skills to lead meetings and interface with various teams,

  • Proven ability to manage and direct subcontractor activities,

  • Experience or understanding of coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering projects
