Could you be the full-time Project Manager in Athens we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and results-driven teammates.
You'll drive the execution of projects according to contractual requirements and customer expectations, maximizing results with respect to cash and margin, while delivering on time and ensuring compliance with Alstom’s project management processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including customer directors, project teams, and support functions like Finance and Legal), lead and coordinate activities, and manage relationships with external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, and partners – and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining project strategies and objectives, optimizing project financial performance, and ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, but also lead risk and opportunity management activities.
We’ll look to you for:
- Driving project Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) performance
- Defining project strategies in line with contract requirements
- Leading and coordinating project activities from transfer to close-out
- Managing resources and ensuring alignment among key stakeholders
- Proactively managing risks and opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Managing customer and external stakeholder relationships
All about you
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Solid and demonstrable experience in managing operational scopes
- Experience working in and with multinational companies and diverse business cultures
- Knowledge of project management processes
- Strong coordination and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and team management abilities
- Result-oriented mindset
- Good knowledge of railway products and systems
- IPMA Level D certification (or equivalent) is desirable
