Maintenance Technician

Purpose of the Job

• Ensure and/or perform the execution of Mainline and Urban Signaling Serivces activities, according to maintenance plan and manuals, Maitenance Team leader orientations and instructions, with a special competency as technician expert.
• Ensure the application of Environment Health 7 Safety policies, local regulations and professional standards.

Responsibilities

In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, the Installation Team Leader oversees day-to-day installation execution and installation workers’ activities, including:

• Ensure proper execution of preventive maintenance activities in compliance to Maintenance Plan and Manuals and Maintenance Team Leader orientation / instructions.
• Ensure on time reaction and proper execution of corrective maintenance activities in compliance to Maintenance and  Troubleshooting Manuals  and Maintenance Team Leader orientation / instructions.
• Ensure punch list closures in compliance to punch list planning and Maintenance Team Leader orientation / instructions.
• Ensure compliance with EHS procedures and maintenance of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), ensuring collective protections are in place, and alerting the Maintenance Team Leaders whenever any deviation to rules or risk is identified.
• Makes sure he has the right means to perform the maintenance:
  • Tools calibrated.
  • Understanding of drawings and manuals.
  • Right material.
  • Accurate knowledge / training for performing the work.
• Report and alert the hieratical superior if any risk, deviations, or issues are identified during the maintenance activities that may impact the safety, the quality and/or the work performance.

Performance measurements

• Punch list closure (Number of Punch Points close vs forecasted).
• Productivity as per Maintenance Plan and Manuals.
• Quality of maintenance activities (maximize availability of maintained equipment)
• Compliance to SLA key figures (4hours reaction, soonest resolution possible)

D&IS: Digital & Integrated Systems, PI: Product Introduction (Warranty),SLA: Service Level Agreement, PPE: Personal Protective Equipment

Educational Requirements 

Mandatory:

• Highly qualified electrical technician/ Technical School Diploma.
• Greek as native and English speaker.
• Driving License Category B.

Desirable:

• OSE cerificate for Works below 25kV network
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (focus on MS Word & MS Excel).

Experience

Mandatory:

• Experience on electrical/ electronic equipment installation and/ or maintenance

Desirable

• Experience on railway sector
