PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Maintenance Operator is responsible to service, maintain, perform warranty repairs and overall rolling stock. As part of the maintenance team, he/she will ensure the equipment is serviced and maintained in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner whilst constantly seeking to improve quality.

MISSIONS & RESPONSABILITIES
Responsabilities
Maintenance
- Work as directed by and in co-operation with the Team Leaders and Production Management Team in order to:
- Adhere to and work within Quality Systems to the current applicable standards.
- Work as part of a team, complete or assist in any of the team's activities to ensure work is completed on time to specification.
- Understand and follow work instructions, Standard Operating Sheets and Task Sequencing.
- Apply Special Processes.
- Support secondary level fault finding as and when required.
- Use work related IT Systems as required to record progress of operations and status of issues.
Reporting
- Accurately report status of operations, complete Work Checklists and Work Orders with the required level of detail including completion time.
Continuous Improvement
- Make suggestions and recommendations for productivity improvements working with the team leaders and Industrial team
- Maintain 5S good housekeeping of all related work areas in accordance with set standards.
Training/Agility

- Be capable of accepting training in other skills and carry out duties, e.g. forklift, road vehicle driving (if certified), attend call-outs and breakdowns if required.
- Be capable of being re-trained in other activities/skills as required by the Production Management Team in order to support the Operations as required.
Environmental Health & Safety

- Understand and abide to safety notices, rules and regulations and follow safe working practices compliant with local standards.
- Comply with all EHS protection and AZDP (Alstom Zero Deviation Policy) measures.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Completion of maintenance tasks according to schedule with the required quality
- Accurate reporting of Operations Progress, spent time.
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
-
Diploma of Technical School or OAED school in electrical and refrigerator works
-
Dual skilled (mechanical & electrical)
-
Professional permit to work in refrigeration plants and HVAC systems
Desirable Knowledge / Experience:
- Experience of working to procedures, work instructions and vehicle maintenance instructions
- Knowledge and practical experience of train maintenance
- Experience of mentoring and instructing other team members
- Technical skills in fault finding, reading schematic diagrams, work to technical instructions
- Language: Greek (country language) and English
