PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- The System Integration and Validation Leader is in charge to define and drive the optimal strategy to integrate all subsystems
- He/she shall lead the Validation of the contract requirements all along the system integration process for the transport system to be delivered
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and manage the System Integration & Validation strategy in order to optimize the overall project Integration &Validation process by leveraging FAT’s, mock-ups, type tests, offshore interface & integration tests in factory, on test tracks, software integration platforms, on-site testing, in close collaboration with his manager
- Define & coordinate with all Subsystems the Validation method to be implemented for each project requirement, with the support of the Requirement Manager & System Engineering, in due time to export Validation constraints to Subsystems in their development process (It includes Subsystems subcontractors and suppliers)
- Manage the I&V process timeline and the timely collection of Validation evidence all along project life, in close collaboration with the Requirement Manager
- Define & coordinate I&V activities related to system level operational scenarios, functionalities & interfaces by leveraging Subsystems I&V activities
- Pilot the optimal Testing program together with the System Testing Manager, considering the previous I&V steps performed during project execution and manage customer acceptance of I&V strategy avoiding redundant validation demonstrations
- Support the compilation of all Validation evidences for System Acceptance, in close collaboration with the Requirement Manager
- Support the obtention of any certification or homologation applicable to the transport system, in collaboration with the Safety manager
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory: Graduated from Engineering school
Desirable: Electrical and mechanical diploma/degree, Computing
Experience
Mandatory: Minimum 5 years in testing in identical field, Laboratory/factory/platform experience, International project experience
Desirable: Knowledgeable of railway system, Electrical power distribution system, Signaling, Communication & SCADA system, Rolling Stock system, Computing
Competencies & Skills : Global vision, English professional level, Rigorous, good organization, Resilient
