PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Ensure Construction Quality compliance according to Customer & Internal specifications.
- Inspection of part / product / installation
- Support Improvement of Zero Defect Program
- Reporting of defects & ensure product compliance (check after rework), especially for Special Processes
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Accountabilities & Authorities:
- Support Track Quality Manager in her / his scope
- Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework) according to ITP.
- Records inspection results in the digital tools as required
- Manage NCR: Support Quality team to complete characterization until closure using Problem Solving methodology Qualify construction teams regarding the Self-Inspection
- Manage Construction Inspection Checklists
- Perform destructive & non-destructive examination.
- Ensure collection of samples for laboratory tests and comparative measurements to achieve correct and reliable measurements.
Performance measurements:
- Punch List Item Reduction
- Inspection method time adherence
- Self-Inspection effectiveness
- Proper defect characterization (e.g. Defect catalogue, 5W2H, Acceptance criteria’s, …)
- Management of rework (Validation included)
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Associates degree, technical major preferred
- Must be able to read drawings / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment
- Quality Processes knowledge for civil/railway construction
Desirable:
- Railway experience is a "plus"
Experience
- 2+ years quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry including using of digital tools
Desirable:
- International mindset & Fluent in English

- Experience in installation/construction activities, in documentation management & collaboration and team working
