PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Prepare and supervise the execution of Signaling Installation of the TLV Green line - trackside and/or onboard - supporting the installation workers and other entities involved, under the PrYM guidelines and project schedule
- Ensure the application of EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standards
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, the Installation Supervisor oversees operational coordination of all project activities related to Site Works, including:
• Prepare installation work and confirm readiness of installation execution.
• Train and support the Installation Workers and Sub-contractors on the working fronts under his/her responsibility, clarifying doubts and task priorities.
• Ensure compliance of Installation activities according to Quality standards and method statement and construction drawings.
• Apply the Work Method Statement (WMS) / Installation procedures according design documentation, report on any deviation found or needed.
• Make sure the EHS requirements and special processes are clear to installation teams on site and to report deviations to EHS manager if needed.
• Report to the PrYM the field activities progress and any issue or founding in the execution, including non-conformities to communicate to Quality team.
• Ensure and support the Handover process to T&C team / Customer
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Technical High-School Diploma
Desirable:
- Certification on Railway Safety
- Certification on Site EHS management
Experience:
Mandatory:
- Strong experience on railway site management
- Experience in managing subcontractors
- Planning control experience in site management scope
- Strong experience on railway EHS management
Desirable:
- Knowledgeable of Railway products and services on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)
- Knowledgeable of transversal railway construction activities (civil, infrastructure, catenary, etc…)
Competencies & Skills:
- Quality and EHS-focused, rigorous, team-player
- Decision-making and problem-solving ability
- Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve Field complex deviations and issues
- Strong leadership skills to manage multiple workers and suppliers
