Objectives

  • Ensure Accounting bookkeeping and Finance duties of the legal entity are performed accurately & timely
  • Ensure compliance with local Tax laws
  • Ensure compliance to Internal Control rules
  • Ensure the correct application of Finance rules (IFRS)
  • Control Site overhead costs, compute hourly rates and assess under/over-recovery

 Responsibilities

 Clarify procedures & standardize routine work to improve efficiency:

    • Procure to Pay
    • Balance Sheet review
    • Intercompany
    • Hedging
    • Lease management
    • Cost Center report
  • Performs Month- end procedures to ensure timely & accurate Month-end, Half-year & Year-end closing & reconciliations
  • Tax filings, reporting, transfer pricing report preparation with the support of Tax consultants
  • Statutory audit / Financial Statement preparation liaising with external auditors
  • Liaise with Group expert (SAP, Tax, Treasury…) as and when required
  • Ensure payments to suppliers are made on time
  • Perform Balance Sheet Review
  • As Overhead controller, assist the departments with Cost Center annual budgets and reviews
  • Computation of the hourly rates and coefficients for the Site
  • Analysis of the under/over-recovery for the site
  • Support cash management by origin
  • Administrator of the accounting tools (SAP – CONCUR – DIP)
  • Bank Administration

Qualifications:

  • CPA with Big 5 experience.
  • Experience in auditing transportation companies- Advantage
  • 4-5 years’ experience in accounting
  • High level of Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP R3 accounting software- Advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize and work independently within the Finance team.
  • A quick learner, with high level of analytical capabilities and business understanding
  •  Experience with global companies and month end closing
